Hi everyone! I hope you’re all having a great summer so far! I know most of us are free from school or work at the moment, and have summer vacation, which means lots and lots of free time. I think it’s such a good idea to decorate your backyard, when your hosting a party. This can really set the mood, and give a nice atmosphere.
Balloons are the number one thing I think about, when I think about throwing a party. Balloons look so festive so they ar definitely a must!
Mason jar lanterns, are a really easy way to bring some light into the darkness, when it’s getting later in the evening. You can make these yourself really easily. You just need some mason jars and tealights, and if you’d like you can even decorate the mason jars to make them look super cute!
Lanterns are also a very easy way to decorate your backyard. You can just hang these around your garden, and they look super cute!
And we can’t forget about the string lights. I thinks this really adds so much to the backyard, and makes it look super cozy!
There’s no party without food, snacks and drinks. So here are some cute ideas:
Watermelon is the perfect snack for the summer, because it’s really refreshing. It’s also really easy to prepare for big amounts of people, because just basically just have to cut it up and it’s easy to make a lot of it.
Mojitos are a perfect drink for the summer, but watermelon mojitos are even more perfect! But of course, if you aren’t 18 years old yet, don’t drink this, I’ve got another option for you.
Pink lemonade is the perfect option if you want to make some fun and cute looking drinks, but you are not 18 yet. And they also taste amazing!
The strawberry brownie kebabs are such a cute little snack, that a lot of people probably will love. I mean, who doesn’t like brownies and strawberries?
When you’re hosting a party you always need to make sure your guest are entertained. So here are some ideas to make sure your quests WON”T get bored.
Waterballoons are always fun, especially in the summer when it’s really hot outside. So I’d say, just prepare some waterballoons. As soon as people will get too hot, they can grab a few and have some fun!
When it’s starting to get dark outside, it might be a fun a idea to start the campfire. I feel like a lot of people will enjoy this. And it looks and smells really good.
We can’t have a campfire without some s’mores! They are really fun to make, and taste super yummy!
These are all of my tips to host a fun summer backyard party. I hope this is helpful, or gives some inspiration for what to do this summer!
